AO 1935 unstyled with brass plate.  Ag shop went thru trans. and some other things and put some of it back together so what’s shown together in pictures as all been gone through and was expensive to get overhauled.  Came originally from Oregon where it previously had been in a 100 year flood.  Midwest. Getting price and pictures soon.

B 4-Bolt in NE.  $6,800 obo on cutoffs.  Runs good but could use carb. cleaning as it hasn’t been ran much the last 3 years, but had outside running last week when took these pictures.  On cut offs which aren’t the best and rims been patched in a couple small spots.  Very good tires though and New 12.4x36 rear tires.  Serial #2305.  Has a regular drawbar on back and doesn’t have brass tag air cleaner but has the correct #10 carb.  Hood has a few wrinkles and could use a new hood and paint job if restoring as was painted probably 15 years ago.  No welds seen.  No noise, clutch a little weak and could just use adjusting, driver disc has a little play, brakes are good.  So overall mechanically is pretty sound.

L unstyled 1938 in PA.  Serial # 621139 so the 139th one ever made.  Starts and runs great.  Tires are brand new front and rear both.  But the rear wheels are regular L wheels, not unstyled L with the ovals in them.   This 1938 unstyled L also has cultivators.  Has a ding in the top radiator tank which I know someone who can get that out.  Starts and runs good.  Has been in same family for over 30 years.  Price is $6,000 firm.

here is also though a Allis G with Belly Mower there too.  It runs good and was in fact overhauled within the last 3 years or less.  1949 Serial #14470.  Is used on occasion to mow a runway but now this last year they bought a commercial mower.  Price for both tractors is just $8,500.  The Allis by itself is at $3,900 which is a fair market value for those.)

Are antique tractor prices skyrocketing?
Prices of old tractors have skyrocketed in the past few years, according to Ageless Iron Almanac.  Greg Petersen, an authority on farm machinery auction prices, says prices are being driven up by baby boomers who farmed or those who were raised on a farm, but left to earn their livelihoods working in an office or factory.  They are buying antique tractors as a hobby that reminds them of their rural past. And for some, apparently, money is no object.

Information compiled by Ageless Iron said a John Deere Deere 60, for example, has appreciated 315 percent over the past decade.  The John Deere 630 has appreciated, on average, more than 56 percent at auction.
--------

Our updated note for 2010 is that this trend is going to continue upward due to demand and the static supply of these great tractors not being made anymore. The Wall Street Journal has even noted their investment value with a front page article on collector tractors just a few years back. And when the stock market crashed 50% in 2008 tractor values held steady and continued to increase the following year as they always do.  For example on models such as the John Deere 330 and other harder to find ones like a 420-V they have literally doubled over the last several years.
